Making Things Worse

I thought that this was a great visual analogy of the relationships that we have with our non-christian friends. We just keep digging holes and not making the relationships with those non-christian friends of ours any better. We should keep in mind that even though they aren’t the “same” as us that we are to love them and treat them as people.

I came back to school from Fall break and couldn’t stop. I was eating dinner with friends whom I haven’t seen in a couple of days after being gone and I couldn’t quit. Enjoying the company of those friends, I couldn’t stop. What was I doing that was unstoppable? I was laughing. Yea, that’s right, LAUGHING! You might be thinking, Brian, you are blogging about laughing. Yes, I am. Ya see…God has blessed me with some of the best friends. When I’m having rough days they are able to change that, just by allowing me to laugh. At their stupidity, jokes, what have you. I am very thankful for the friends I have here at school and can’t think of anyone who I’d like to spend my college carrer with besides them. I also appreciate the fact that our group of friends has grown and isn’t keeping to ourselves. We talk to new people, make new friends, and go outside of our “group” to be friends with others.  John 15:13 NIVGreater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. Wednesday Afternoon Run Down

This should have been posted earlier, but I don’t have a reason for why it wasn’t so here goes.

  • Have you ever wondered why the church should be like Olive Garden? Well, Robin Hunt has the insight on that.
  • Half a week of school is a very nice thing. 
  • Fall break simply was not productive enough so I stayed up until 2 last night finishing up the work I had due today.
  • One of my favorite things to do is produce audio productions that make your ears happy. Check out one of my most recent liners.
  • My to-do list for this week is much shorter than it was this time last week. Productivity is getting a kick in the butt. 
  • 3-5 page book review due tomorrow. The book is finished, but I have to just come up with all of my ideas for the paper this evening. 
  • The weather is a little too warm for it to be considered fall. 78F is too warm without there being wind outside.
  • I love wearing hoodies, but it’s been too hot for them lately. 
  • It was good to have time with the family this past weekend, but I’m glad to be back at school with friends.
  • A blog on laughter will come soon…been thinking about that quite a bit lately.
  • Our chapel speaker, Matt Rogers, mentioned silly bandz this morning in chapel, I throwing my fist up in the air as he said that, wearing 5-6 of them proudly.
